A chamber opera
exploring artificial intelligence
and what it means to be human.
February 28 at 7:30 PM
at National Sawdust, 80 N 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY.
Spanish composer and famed conductor Pedro Halffter creates a new and divergent chamber dance-opera for two pianos and soprano. Through enigmatic lyrics, and the play between choreography and singing, this production engages the audiences in a current reflection on the development of artificial intelligence, and what it means to be human.
In collaboration with National Sawdust, Divaria Productions, and the New York City Opera. This production is supported in part by Opera America: NYC Opera Grants for Small-Budget Companies, supported by the Howard Gilman Foundation.
