Celebrating our voice

Our Mission

Our Commitment

Our Mission

Opera Hispánica is the premiere performing arts organization that empowers Latin artists and develops our communities through groundbreaking cultural productions and musical content.

The value of Opera Hispánica's mission is doubly relevant: it promotes the exposure of centuries-old Spanish and Latin vocal tradition while securing its future growth and enrichment; and brings forth a wealth of artists and performers to affirm the pride in our heritage.

We envision OH will soon become the vessel that will bring together many cultures, many countries, many lives, many people through beautiful singing, exciting performances, and community events.

Opera Hispánica is set to become the first and only opera company in the United States to present exclusively Latin American and Spanish opera, as well as Zarzuela. Increasing numbers of composers are writing operas with Spanish and Latin American themes, and major opera companies across the nation are recognizing the rich Hispanic influences upon the genre.

A leader in support of this important art form, Opera Hispánica is adding its voice and perspective to the already vital opera community in New York City.

Our Commitment

Our Commitment

Our Commitment

Opera Hispánica supports inclusion and diversity by giving a voice to Latin artists -singers, musicians and creators-. We are a platform that produces and develops content that represents our heritage, passions and believes.

Opera Hispánica is committed to bring Hispanic opera to your community!

We have created full opera productions that are ready to be presented to your audiences.

We also facilitate every level of engagement: provide creative teams, singers, musicians, sets, technical support, music parts, and every and each element to help you bring Hispanic, Latino and Spanish opera to your audiences!
